Holly Tapani is an oil painter, born in 1997 and raised in Buffalo, NY. Now living in Washington, DC, she is fascinated by the ways we bring nature into our homes, capturing the unique personalities of houseplants and our attempts to domesticate the wild. Her work explores resiliency, the value of aesthetics, and the contradictions of living in an urban environment while remaining part of the natural world.
